Adjoining the owner’s home, but with a private decked area and off road parking, this house is finished to a very good standard indeed. The owners have left nothing to chance when thinking about style, comfort and quality even down to towelling robes.
    Padstow, a jewel of a town on the north Cornwall coast, is in a central location in Cornwall, and has an abundance of great cafés, restaurants, local shops and stunning scenery. The National Lobster Hatchery Centre is right on the quay in Padstow and a fascinating insight into the conservation work they do for the sea life of the area.
    There are also several vineyards close by, including the Camel Valley, with world class award-winning wines and Trevibyan Vineyard both worth a visit. Padstow has a rich heritage of fishing, and the working harbour is a great focal point with all narrow lanes leading to it. Sit and enjoy a pasty or local ice cream as the boats bob around. The town sits at the mouth of the Camel Estuary with views across to Rock, beautiful Daymer Bay and the famous Doom Bar, which a local beer is named after. You can catch a passenger ferry across the estuary to the village of Rock and walk across the golden sands. Walk along the Coastal Path to Polzeath, a small village with a great surfing beach. You’ll pass by the famous church at St Enedoc, which is the final resting place of Sir John Betjeman, the Poet Laureate.
    The celebrity chef Rick Stein has many eateries in the town from a cookery school to fish and chip shop, a must for great fish and chips by the sea. Padstow has many cycle hire opportunities due to it being at the start of the Camel Trail, an 18-mile, off road, flat, multi-use trail that hugs the edge of the estuary into Wadebridge, a pretty market town, and before eventually reaching Bodmin inland. If its beaches you want, then there are many within a stroll from Little Tregarthen. Many more are just a short drive away, such as Constantine with its superb golf course, Treyarnon, Harlyn and Trevone, all stunning expanses of golden sand for that great day out by the sea. The working harbour provides sea fishing and sightseeing trips along the coast and along the River Camel which flows inland towards the market town of Wadebridge. Many of the cafés and restaurants are owned by the TV chef Rick Stein including a patisserie, deli, and cookery school where you can book lessons. The River Camel is a tidal estuary that flows inland from Padstow and has a flat, multi-use walking, cycling, and horse-riding trail that hugs the shoreline. You can hire bikes all along the trail and enjoy the ride. A favourite with the locals is to hire a bike in Wadebridge and cycle towards the sea and enjoy fish and chips from Rick Stein’s chippy before heading back.

    Port Isaac, the setting and the location of TVs Doc Martin, is a great place to visit, and you may even see the stars filming the latest series. Newquay, home to the UK’s Surf Industry, is within minutes, and the many excellent beaches that the town is famous for provide all you need from hire to lessons. The town also has a zoo, cinema, and trampoline centre (coming in 2019). This area is also abundant with golf courses from Trevose, The Point, St Enedoc, and Merlin, all within a short drive. The Eden Project, Tintagel Castle, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are all nearby and easily reached. Horse riding, sailing, walking, and health spas are all available locally. Beach 2¾ miles. Hire a bicycle here and follow the Camel Trail, 18 miles of a mainly flat pathway, as it threads its way through woodland, revealing scenic views. The trail leads to Wadebridge, an ancient town with many amenities and on to Bodmin, where it’s mysterious and atmospheric moor of the same name boasts strange rock formations and views so spectacular.
