    The pretty village of St Merryn is in the centre of the peninsula that extends out to Trevose Head and is within a few miles of seven fantastic beaches. The village has a tourism motto, Seven Bays for Seven Days. Padstow, renowned for being the base for TV chef Rick Stein’s Cornish Seafood empire, is a stunning town with a wealth of pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants. Padstow is also the western end of the Camel Trail, which stretches 18 miles to the east along the Camel Valley on a largely flat disused railway line.
    To the south is Mawgan Porth and the pretty village of St. Mawgan. Situated mid-way between Padstow and Newquay close to the Southwest Coastal Path on the rugged north Cornish coast, Mawgan Porth offers you a beautiful west-facing beach with stunning scenery, wondrous walks, and superb surfing.
