A contemporary kitchen with its island (which doubles as a breakfast bar) means morning coffees and dinner preparations are a sociable affair; and for warmer evenings when the Cornish sun sets in all its splendour on the horizon, there’s a stunning furnished courtyard where fresh-air dining and evening drinks can be shared.
Downstairs, the master bedroom is a dream, with sliding doors opening out to another Juliet balcony that overlooks the sea, and the super king size bed with its luxurious linens making the perfect place to indulge in long morning lie-ins or afternoon nap. The second bedroom is also generously proportioned and beautifully furnished, with its zip and lock twin beds offering versatility to suit families with children of all ages, as well as couples and friends.
Situated on The Terrace within a stone’s throw from the heart of St Ives, 3 Porthminster Mews is just a two-minute walk from the town’s culture-packed streets which meander past boutique shops and artisan eateries down to its postcard-worthy harbour. The white sands of the Blue Flag Porthminster beach are moments away, and with its award-winning café, beachside facilities and clear waters, it’s easy to see why it’s been rated by visitors and locals alike as one of the top three beaches in the UK. Coastal walks abound in the area so for a slightly more energetic days as well as incredible coastal views, guests can wander the scenic South West Coast path from Porthminster Beach to Porthminster Point and on to Carbis Bay. Further afield and easily accessible by car are the well-known towns and beaches in the area including those of Hayle and Gwithian, and for a close-to-home indulgence there’s the Harbour Hotel and Spa which offers a range of facilities that include an indoor pool, treatment rooms and a restaurant/bar with outdoor terrace.

The area has something for everyone, wild life and bird watchers will love the marshes at Marazion, and Hayle attracts bird watchers from around the world.
