With spacious open plan living space, it is ideal for enjoyable gatherings of families or friends. Barn Cottage offers a first floor living room, complete with doors which open onto a small decked balcony where guests can admire the magnificent views across rolling fields and out to the sea. Both properties enjoy shared access to the range of facilities found on-site, including a tennis court and a children’s outdoor play area with slides, swings and a climbing wall. Why not take a dip in the heated outdoor swimming pool, or challenge friends and family to the variety of games found in the small indoor games barn including table tennis, air hockey and a small pool table. Friendly chickens, ducks and geese roam the courtyard, and the tame peacock may pay you a visit to your door. Perranporth, EnglandThis superbly spacious, lodge-style static caravan is nestled within a popular holiday park located within a fantastic area, a few miles from some of the most iconic beaches on the North Cornwall coast. Once inside, you enter a bright, open-plan living area, with very well-equipped kitchen including a wine cooler and excellent central island breakfast bar. The living area has a supremely comfortable sofa and twin wing backed chairs, electric wood burner and TV. There are two bedrooms with stylish lighting and lots of storage. Bedroom one has a double bed and en-suite facilities and the second has twin beds. The family bathroom has a further double shower. Throughout the property there are smart lines and clever understated designs. The outside veranda wraps around half of the property, has pleasant seating and is enclosed. There are four steps up to the veranda from the ground level.
The park has many facilities open all year round, with a heated indoor swimming pool, cosy bar and eatery with log fire, outdoor adventure park for the little ones and a skate park too. Venture further afield (but not far!) and you find the beaches of Perranporth, Holywell and Perran Sands. Just 10 minutes away is Newquay, a thriving coastal town and mecca for water sports, most notably surfing. There is a plethora of shops, a zoo, golf course and all weather aquarium. There are a wealth of things to do on the farm to keep youngsters entertained including plethora of farm animals, a communal swimming pool which is heated and will be open for use between May half term and mid September, a tennis court, games room and play area.
This comfortable, dog friendly, holiday home is a 15-minute walk from Widemouth Bay which is a fantastic beach and has a vast expanse of golden sands at low tide and many rock pools to explore. The surf is often outstanding, the sun hits the beach for most of the day and the sunsets over the sea are simply magical. 3 miles to the north is Bude, a vibrant, bustling little tourist town with a wealth of restaurants and amenities.
For walkers and cyclists the area is full of superb routes and Bude lies at the centre of the most dramatic stretch of the south west coastal footpath. There are numerous local villages and landmarks to explore and much of the area is a nature lovers paradise. Bude is only a couple of minutes down the road and has the full range of facilities that one would expect of a small town including a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurant.
Bude is possibly more diverse than any other holiday destination in Cornwall. Most major villages, towns and attractions are within an hour’s drive; and because Bude sits on the county border, visitors can explore the delights of both Devon and Cornwall at their leisure. Look past the eight main beaches and many smaller hidden coves and you will soon see there really is something for everyone. In the centre of Bude there is a huge, sandy beach which is a favourite with children and adults alike,there are a host of pubs, cafés and restaurants to suit every palate.
