You can either relax at the property in the hot tub or large garden or explore the many things to see and do in the surrounding area. You can also enjoy a game of pool in the utility room which has a pool table and seating along with the washing machine, tumble dryer and Belfast sink. The kitchen has a warming Aga, and steps lead down to a breakfast area with a dining table and seating for eight guests. The larger, formal dining room has a dining table and seating for 12-14 guests.
This elegant, detached house is ideal for groups, families or couples and blends character with every day modern day comforts. It is perfectly positioned to explore the Norfolk Broads National Park and Norfolk’s amazing coastline with sandy beaches and RSPB bird reserves. Neighbouring the owners’ working arable farm (not accessible to guests) it is privately surrounded by its own large garden.
It has nearby links to public footpaths and bridleways, including Weavers Way, winding 61 miles through the North Norfolk countryside. Another way to enjoy the area is on horseback; there is a equestrian centre nearby (within ½ mile) where you can hire a horse for the day, or you can even house your own horse, with a variety of livery options available. The centre is registered with Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) charity. There are tremendous circular cycling routes via Dilham Canal and a wealth of opportunities for walking direct from the doorstep, so do remember to pack your walking boots. For anglers, there is carp fishing within ½ mile.
The market town of North Walsham, 6 miles, has a good selection of shops, supermarkets, bank, a weekly market, bowling alley, leisure centre with swimming pool, restaurants, and cafés. Worstead church is a superb 14th-century building, full of historic and architectural interest. Wroxham, the capital of the Norfolk Broads is 6½ miles for daily boat hire and river trips, waterside restaurants, cafés and shops. It also has a train station with links to Norwich city, 13 miles, for excellent shopping centres, theatre, market, castle museum, cathedral, cafés and restaurants, and coast and Bure Valley Steam Railway; a nostalgic 18-mile trip by steam on Norfolk’s longest narrow gauge railway which runs between the historic market towns of Aylsham and Wroxham, with wayside halts serving the picturesque Broadland villages of Brampton, Buxton and Coltishall, where you can hop off and on to explore by foot. The popular seaside town of Cromer, 15 miles, has a beach, promenade gardens, pier, shops, cafés and restaurants. There are sandy beaches at Happisburgh, Mundesley and Bacton within 20 minutes’ drive. Felbrigg and Blickling Halls (National Trust), and Sheringham Park are all within a 30-minute drive. A must for families is BeWILDerwood at Horning, a tree top adventure woodland, 7 miles and Dinosaur Park at Weston Park, 19 miles. Beach 8 miles. Pub 1 mile, shop 5 miles and restaurant 4 miles.

North Devon has plenty to see and do, and is home to some of the best beaches in the country including Woolacombe and Saunton. The nearest beach is at Instow and is ideal for children or just a great place to walk off life’s stresses, and then enjoy a meal or drink at one of the pubs and restaurants along the front. The town of Great Torrington is only a short drive away and has most amenities you may require. The larger regional town of Barnstaple has a busy high street, the Pannier Market and famous Butchers Row. There are numerous places of interest close by including the RHS gardens at Rosemoor, Dartington Crystal and the historic fishing village at Clovelly. For the younger ones a visit to the Big Sheep or Milky Way Adventure Parks is a good option. There is walking on Dartmoor or hire a bike and cycle the Tarka Trail, and there is also golf and fishing available locally.
Beaford House is also a registered wedding venue and as well as the large house, there is also access to a great, well equipped function room should you decide to spend your big day here. Shop 5 miles, pub ¾ mile.

The main house is a unique, Grade II listed, Georgian manor house nestled in 25 acres of Wiltshire countryside. This beautiful detached property features a games room in the basement, a ’secret’ walled garden and well-equipped accommodation for families, friends or couples who enjoy holidaying together, and with 9 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, this makes the ideal choice. Set in private grounds, this charming house has a modern, eclectic, English country decor theme throughout. For those who prefer ground floor accommodation, there is a double bed in the library, which has an en-suite, with a shower and toilet. This shower room has also been designed as a place for washing down your four-legged friends after country walks. The kitchen centres around an Aga, and has a farmhouse-style table, along with all the facilities needed to enjoy a self-catering holiday. On the first floor, known as the Georgian Wing, there are 5 bedrooms, all with a private bathroom. Two of these have super kingsize, timber beds, two have zip and link super kingsize beds, and the other has 2 single beds with matching trundle beds, sleeping up to 4. This room has use of the bathroom just across the landing, while the other 4 bedrooms have en-suites. The Victorian Wing was originally designed as a nursery and servant’s quarters, which has now been made into a further 4 bedrooms, each with their own en-suite. Each of these rooms consist of a super kingsize zip and link beds, two of which are typically set up as twin beds and two as super kings. Guests can enjoy exclusive use of the grounds, which include a walled ’secret’ garden next to the house. There is also a large lawned area for outdoor dining, sunbathing, reading and relaxing. For those who enjoy a walk, there is a 1.5km woodland path behind the house. To the front of the house, an additional large lawned area can be used for games with the children. For those who may be celebrating a special occasion, or perhaps looking to treat yourself, a private chef can be arranged to cook some or all meals during your stay (by arrangement with owner, at cost). There is also a 1-bedroom annexe called The Nook which is also available on the Henge Estate and can be booked under a separate listing.
If you fancy venturing out, Stonehenge is just over 5 minutes’ away, and Salisbury is just over 20 minutes’. The local village is half a mile away and has a convenience store, a pub serving local ales and a restaurant. There are many places to visit within easy reach including Bath, Marlborough, Winchester, Southampton and Shaftesbury. For those who enjoy history, visit Stonehenge, Woodhenge, Durrington Walls, Avebury Henge and stone circles, Alexander Keiller Museum, Andover Iron Age Museum, and many castles dotted around the area. Longleat Safari and Adventure Park, Paultons Park and Peppa Pig World and Finkley Down Farm are within reach, and for those who enjoy outdoor activity, they can book horse riding, fishing, art, golf, festivals and markets, there is plenty within a short drive. The town of St Austell is just an 8-minute drive away where you will find local shops, cinema and a choice of restaurants and pubs. The cathedral city of Truro is just a 20-minute drive away, offering a wider selection of amenities. Mevagissey is an ancient fishing village that offers local galleries, craft shops and fresh seafood restaurants. There are many beautiful gardens including the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the world-famous Eden Project and Caerhays Castle and Garden, all nearby. The historic port of Charlestown, one of the settings of TV’s drama ’Poldark’, is nearby as is the Roseland Peninsula. Porthpean and Pentewan Sands are the closest beaches, however there are beaches galore along the south coast. Also available at the village of Pentewan is an off-road cycle and walking trail that leads to the town centre of St Austell. Horse riding, canoeing, boat trips and walking are all catered for locally. There really is no shortage of things to do in this impressive part of Cornwall. Beach 5½ miles. Hampton House is now available for booking in 2023. This stunning house, with accessed via an electric gate, benefits from parking for six cars, security cameras, air conditioning and has a fast Wi-Fi speed covering the entirety of the property including outside.
The large farmhouse kitchen has all the necessary appliances required for your holiday and the whole property is integrated with a Sonos music system, which includes a connection to the outside space. There is a laundry room with two washing machines and two tumble dryers along with a butler sink. You also have an office space if you have the unfortunate dilemma of having to work whilst on holiday. A games room with a pool table and a darts board is fun for all the family. The formal living room with a cosy fireplace, is perfect for a relaxing evening, but should you wish to dine formally, then you can do so in a separately in a lovely room which seats up to eight people. There is a tranquil Pebble room with bi-folding doors that leads out to the indoor-outdoor area with a kitchen, BBQ area with an outdoor fireplace, a hidden drop-down Smart TV with steps sinking into the heated pool. The stunning pool area is complemented with loungers resting in shallow water attached to the pool. There is a hot tub area and gazebo with outdoor sofas and plenty of seating for comfort and outside dining.
From the spacious entrance is a grand staircase leading to the four bedrooms. The master bedroom has its own wing of the house, whilst three of the bedrooms can be provided with a travel cot. All bedrooms in Hampton House are furnished to a very high standard with en-suites and air conditioning.
There is a separate lodge with a kingsize bedroom and gorgeous en-suite, along with a kitchenette area making this a great space for a couple who wants to be separate from the rest of the gang!
