Harlech, WalesSituated between Harlech Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the world class Royal St Davids links golf course, Noddfa has beautiful views of both and the sea beyond. Harlech is an attractive town with a theatre, a magnificent sandy beach with bathing and good restaurants and shops. Portmerion, Ffestiniog railway and Snowdon are all within a short drive. For things to do for families, Torquay is a hive of activity throughout the year. There are many beaches to choose from as well as Kent’s Cavern to explore or Living Coasts to visit where you can walk with penguins. There are also plenty of sightseeing excursions, boat and fishing trips out into the bay, or take a boat trip to Torquay and Dartmouth for a day out. Paignton is most famous for its wonderful zoo, whilst Babbacombe plays host to a world in miniature in the form of its acclaimed model village.
