Take a ferry to Starcross and stroll to Powderham Castle. Stop off at Beer, with caves and a beach; visit Branscombe and Sidmouth with shopping and promenade; or visit Seaton, where you can take a tram ride through the countryside. Close by, there are afternoon river cruises on the Exe Estuary with views of Starcross, Powderham Castle, Topsham, Lympstone and the wildlife, or take a visit to ‘World of Country Life’. The first floor is divided into two with a separate staircase to access each area. Bedrooms three and four are accessed by a staircase from the kitchen. Bedroom four is accessed through bedroom three and has an en-suite bathroom with separate shower, large corner bath and toilet. Bedroom three and four are zip and link and can be made into twin beds.
The principal staircase rises from the main entrance hallway and leads to the other part of the house where you will discover the family bathroom and bedrooms one and two, each having a kingsize bed, although bedroom two can be set up with 2ft 6in twin beds if requested. The accommodation is therefore very flexible and suitable for groups of different sizes and composition.

A bit further into town and onto Paignton seafront and beach with its arcades, pier, mini golf course and various pubs/restaurants often hosting live music. Paignton harbour also has some good quality new restaurants, especially for seafood. If guests are wanting to explore the local area as well as Paignton, the nearby towns of Torquay with its marina, the famous fishing town of Brixham and Dartmouth and Kingswear are a relatively short drive away, as is the nearby city of Exeter.
