Oaklands is a luxurious and spacious holiday home set in its own acre of ground, with three beautiful bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open plan kitchen, dining and living area all on the same level. The doorways are wide enough for wheelchairs and ramps can be provided over the doorways if requested, however please note the property hasn’t been specifically set-up for wheelchair users so the kitchen and bathrooms may not be suitable The accommodation feels bright and welcoming with high beamed ceilings, underfloor heating throughout and plenty of large windows, patio doors and sliding doors seamlessly blending the living spaces with the outdoor landscape. Guests will love the rural tranquil location with plenty of wildlife, starry skies, distant views of Dartmoor and beautiful scenery that this perfect get away can offer.
The large kitchen is fully equipped with a farmhouse cooker with two ovens and an induction hob, a fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher and a washing machine. After a fun-filled day exploring Devon, gather your friends and family around the large dining table for a celebratory homecooked meal and relax on the comfortable sofas and armchairs or sit outside with a glass of wine and watch the sun go down.

Little Millhayes is a spacious two-bedroom holiday home located in Upexe, which is a pretty rural hamlet in the heart of the Devonshire Exe Valley countryside. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is also a dining table with six chairs. Please note that the height under the beams in the dining area is under 6ft, and there is a step down from the dining area to the kitchen. The spacious living room is comfortably furnished with two three-seater sofas, a 40” Smart TV, DVD player, an electric wood burner and coffee tables. The patio doors in the living room open out into the garden, which is very pleasant on a warm summer’s evening.
There is one bedroom on the ground floor which has a super kingsize zip and link bed, and there is also a cloakroom with a toilet and wash basin. The second bedroom is on the first floor which is accessed via a carpeted metal spiral staircase. This room has twin zip and link single beds.
The large garden is enclosed by a 6ft wall and two 6ft gates, and has a lovely patio area with a table and chairs positioned under a gazebo, perfect for enjoying a mid-morning coffee or to eat al fresco. Lemon Cottage is a fantastic 2021 refurbished self-catering holiday property nearby to the owner’s property, in the village of Bickington. Bickington is a village and civil parish in the Teignbridge district of Devon, England, on the east edge of the Dartmoor National Park. The village is about five miles west of Newton Abbot, on the River Lemon. The cottage is also just a 5-minute drive away from the nearby town of Ashburton, with its fantastic local antique shops, restaurants & bakery. In addition, Lemon Cottage is a 10-minute drive from Dartmoor and the famous Haytor Rock, a great day out for walking/hiking with a picnic and taking in the natural beauty and wildlife.

As you enter Lemon Cottage, there is a handy area for your coats and shoes along with dog beds for those four-legged friends. There is also a wet room by the front door, perfect for rinsing down after a day on the beach, or cleaning up mucky paws. Through the entrance hallway and into the fitted kitchen with breakfast bar overlooking the living/dining area.
