A fabulous family lodge on a working farm surrounded by beautiful countryside. This four bedroom lodge enjoys an open plan living space which opens up onto the veranda, overlooking fields and rolling countryside as far as the eye can see, including views of Rockingham Castle and East Carlton hall, and the five villages on the opposite side of the valley.
This lovely wooden lodge enjoys a cosy log burner for those chillier evenings, and a well-equipped kitchen perfect for rustling up a celebratory meal. It’s a quiet and peaceful area with sheep and cattle as your neighbours, and depending on the time of year you’ll see the lambs in the adjacent paddock. Use of the paddock for exercising dogs can be agreed with the owner on prior arrangement, as sometimes it can be used for livestock.
Just set outside the village of Drayton in Leicestershire, but close to the county borders of Northamptonshire and Rutland so perfect for exploring these three lovely central England counties. It’s an area popular with walkers and cyclists as there are many footpaths and country roads to explore. You can also enjoy fishing at the nearby Eyebrook trout Fishery, 3 miles, or at Rutland Water, 13 miles, horse riding and a choice of Golf courses at nearby Corby or Rutland.
