A little further afield is the county town Shrewsbury, or magnificent cities of both Chester and Manchester which can be reached in around an hour’s drive or by train from Nantwich station which is just 0.5 miles away. For those who like to explore the great outdoors you can pick up the Sandstone Trail in nearby Tarporley, visit the castles of Beeston and Cholmondeley or head to Delamere Forest all of which can be reached in around 30 minutes.
