Seaside Cottage (UKC5932) and Coastguard Cottage (UKC5933) each feature two comfortable double bedrooms. Bedroom one has a kingsize bed that can be made up as twin beds on request, with a sea view and an en-suite shower. Bedroom 2 has a double bed with beautiful sea views. There is also a comfy double sofa bed available in the spacious open plan living area with kitchen.

The beach is just 100 or so yards walk away and this area of Southbourne is quieter than the beaches towards Boscombe and Bournemouth. It is a sandy beach with fantastic views across the ocean and toward the Isle of Wight and The Purbecks. Also within walking distance is Southbourne high street which has a selection of convenience stores, independent restaurants, shops and pubs, including is a wide variety of takeaways and cafés as well.

There are numerous places you can visit nearby including Hengistbury Head which is an area of Scientific Interest due to the abundance of wildlife. Christchurch with its , independent shops, beautiful harbour and wide range of independant shops and eateries is well worth a visit. Bournemouth is also within easy reach with high street of shops, frequent events, cinema, theatre and of course its golden sandy beaches The New Forest with its free-roaming ponies, cattle and donkeys. It is an excellent place to go walking and cycling and is just a short drive away.

Step back in time and head to Swanage and get a steam train to Corfe Castle, a thousand year old castle above the delightful town of the same name. Welcome to Violet Bay, this stunning fisherman’s cottage located a short walk from the famous golden sand beach of Weymouth is the perfect place for the family to stay and enjoy their holiday in Weymouth. This recently refurbished property has been completed to a high standard with furniture to match. Entering the property you will notice the living room with the electric log burner, Smart TV, comfy sofa, and a single sofa bed. The dining room is at the rear of the property where there is bench seating for up to six guests, French doors open on to the rear garden which is the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening under the stars.
The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven, microwave-oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, and coffee machine. Upstairs both bedrooms sleep 2 with bedroom one with a King size bed and bedrooms two with a twin bed with a zip-link mattress. The bathroom is at the rear of the property where a small step takes you down in a bathroom with shower over bath, toilet, basin, and Heated towel rail. Outside you will also find the utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also an outside toilet. A short walk from violet bay you will be welcomed to the beautiful sites of Weymouth harbour, this once famous fishing harbour is now home to many pleasure boats, small ferries, and many water sport activities for you all to enjoy.

The Weymouth Beach which is positioned in the heart of The World-Famous Jurassic Coast is the perfect bay to enjoy a swim or time with a book on the beach. For the walkers among us, The Jurassic Coastline has plenty of trail walks, make sure you take in the sites of Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, you do not want to forget the camera for this trip.
Closer to the property, Portland is a 10-minute drive, which is home of the 2012 Olympic Sailing Academy, Chesil beach, the renowned Portland Bill Lighthouse plus many more. Entering via a porch way for muddy shoes and coats, the living room is well equipped with comfy sofas, a Smart TV and an electric wood burner. Rear French doors lead you into the back garden where you can relax after a long day exploring. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining room is located next to the kitchen where you can enjoy a morning coffee or a family meal. Upstairs via the unique spiral staircase there are three bedrooms - a master bedroom with kingsize bed and en-suite shower room, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The family bathroom offers a shower over bath, basin and toilet.
Farnham is a small village with a pub a short walk away, and Larmer Tree Gardens is only a short drive away, well worth a visit to wander around the beautiful gardens. You can also visit the National Trust sites of Kingston Lacy House, Hod Hill and the White Mill. Dorset Heavy Horse Farm is a wonderful family day out where you can feed the animals or enjoy a ride in a horse drawn carriage. You can visit Moors Valley Park where there are tree top walkways, or you can cycle around the woodlands. One place you will not want to miss is the walks along the Jurassic Coastline taking in sites such as Lulworth Cove and Durdle door, located approximately 1 hour from the property. Beach 20 miles. Located in Chideock, between Bridport and West Bay to the east and Lyme Regis to the west, this holiday home is the main part of the owners’ detached house with an adjoining self-contained annexe for the owners use. It is ideally situated for enjoying and exploring west Dorset and the famous scenic World Heritage Jurassic Coast, and has a large, enclosed, lawned garden with a patio overlooking fields and footpaths towards Seatown. Wander over the fields to the coast at Seatown and enjoy some superb scenic coastal walking up to the top of Golden Cap the highest point in the south of England. Lyme Regis offers a great day or two out, with its picturesque harbour, sandy beach and famous Cob, where you can pass the time fossil hunting, boating, fishing, swimming, walking, exploring the quaint character shops, or simply wining and dining. Inland perhaps enjoy a cream tea at the Broadwindsor Craft Centre, or travel further afield to south Somerset and visit historic Forde Abbey and Gardens.
