The Duxford Imperial War Museum, or the riverside town of Bishop’s Stortford are likewise 15 minutes’ away. Half an hour’s drive away is the famous Newmarket Racecourse, or 40 minutes’ away the University City of Cambridge. There are golf clubs at nearby Elsenham, Bishop’s Stortford and Saffron Walden.
