Come sundown, retreat to the comfort of the master bedroom, with a kingsize bed, and mezzanine children’s twin tucked away on the first floor, with white cotton bed linen to wrap yourself up in and sink into a deep slumber. Then wake up to a breakfast of fresh eggs from your welcome pack laid by the resident hens.
Beautifully landscaped, shared gardens wait to be explored or simply gazed over whilst having a meal alfresco on your private dining terrace. Tucked away out of sight, the private hot tub awaits, immerse yourself in the bubbles and unwind. Open from May-September (from August during 2022) the beautifully dubbed ’secret garden’ awaits, take a dip in the large shared swimming pool with solar heated cover, fully relax on one of the loungers or on the outdoor sofas with a bar area for keeping your drinks cool, and pool table for a competitive game or two.

Located on the coastal road between Woodbridge and Snape in the Suffolk coastal area of outstanding beauty. This Victorian farm cottage was built in 1872 and is located close to many of the best tourist attractions in Suffolk.
The cottage is full of character being a period building, it has a beautiful log burner and traditional comfortable furnishings with a modern, contemporary and clean decor. There is a small bathroom downstairs with a bath and a powerful hot shower too, there are three spacious bedrooms although the cottage comfortably hosts up to four people. The garden is large with comfortable outdoor furniture for you to enjoy your coffee at sunrise and wine at sunset. A flock of curious, funny, welcoming and happy hens and a cockerel live on the property and lay THE BEST eggs for your breakfast, which you are welcome to collect and eat. If you could feed them each morning, the owner would greatly appreciate it.
There are so many attractions nearby such as the UFO walk in the well-known Rendlesham forest, the famous “Sutton Hoo” viking burial site (Netflix made a popular series about it) 5 minutes down the road. We are only 13 minutes away from the nearest beach, shingle street, and 18 minutes from Aldeburgh, a popular tourist destination. In addition to a plethora of top-quality restaurants, pubs, and Michelin star eateries, Woodbridge was voted the best place to live in the east in 2021. You can kayak, paddle board and wild swim in the rivers and seas. Woodbridge and Ufford park have lovely golf courses if you fancy a round. Shop 1/2-mile, Pub 200 Yards. Beach 10 miles.

Prominently looking over the village green, and within touching distance of the Skiddaw massif, this link detached property is in the perfect location to explore the north western fells of the Lake District. The village is situated in the north of the Lake District National Park, and is also just a short drive to Carlisle and the Scottish borders - it couldn’t be easier to explore the area. Bassenthwaite is a real community village which hosts an annual duck race, frequent pub quizzes and a vibrant, active local church arranging village fates, sports days and even Morris dancing. This beautiful cottage is just over a mile away from Bassenthwaite Lake, where fishing and sailing are available, or for nature lovers a walk up to the osprey viewpoints is well worth the effort. The property is ideally located for cyclists, with rides including the C2C and Cumbria Way routes, along with off-road trails at nearby Whinlatter Forest. However you choose to spend your stay, this is a perfect location to make the most of the Lake District. There is a dog-friendly, village pub serving food, just a short walk away, whilst Armathwaite Hall hotel and spa, Ravenstone lodge and Castle Inn all provide alternatives within 2 miles. The bustling town of Penzance and the historic town of Marazion, home of St Michaels Mount which rises from the sea like a fairytale castle, can be reached on foot by causeway at low tide and small ferry at high tide. The area is a popular walking destination with extensive scenic coastal pathways. The marshes at Marazion and Hayle Estuary attract wildlife and bird watchers from around the world. Locally, you can find cycle trails, sub-tropical gardens, tea rooms and art galleries, including the Tate and Barbara Hepworth Museum at St Ives.
Take the scenic coastal train from St Erth to St Ives or take a day trip to the beautiful Isles of Scilly from nearby Lands End airport or the Scillonian Ferry from Penzance. Return to The Bunker and relax on the patio with an aperitif before heading off to take in an evening performance at the Minack Theatre. The village of Hoxne, 5 minutes’ drive (2 miles) has a pub with restaurant, a village post office, deli and shop. Country walks are available all around and the Suffolk heritage coastline has fabulous beaches to enjoy. Explore Southwold, a fantastic seaside town with pier, historic lighthouse and high street lined with independent shops and boutiques. RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Heath offer opportunities for spotting birds and connecting with wildlife, with excellent walks available. For a quieter sandy beach, head to Covehithe, and for great days out, visit Snape Maltings, Framlingham Castle, Eye Castle, Halesworth Museum, Yoxford Antiques Centre and Gardens and Easton Farm Park.
The vibrant market towns of Bungay and Beccles boast independent boutiques and chain shops and the weekly market is excellent for all things local. At Beccles there is an open air heated outdoor swimming pool, popular with many local swimmers and gateway to the famous Norfolk Broads National Park. The surrounding area offers an excellent collection of eateries, including fine dining to many cafés serving home-made cakes and savouries to delight many palates. Beach 28 miles. This attractive, detached, single-storey holiday cottage stands on the banks of the trout-filled River Avon. Occasional dry fly fishing can be arranged with prior arrangement with the owner. There will be an additional charge for this.

The surrounding area is full of picturesque villages, and across the river is the 16th-century Heale House with 8 acres of beautiful gardens. Nearby is Stonehenge, and the lesser known neolithic site of Woodhenge. Salisbury has Britain’s finest medieval cathedral with the best preserved original Magna Carta. Shop, pub 1 mile.
