The two kingsize bedrooms both have large stunning en-suite bathrooms, a spiral staircase leads to the first floor open plan living space where you will find a karaoke machine, record player with a selection of records, and a selection of board games. Leading out from the living space is a lovely teak balcony overlooking the large 1 acre garden where you will find an elegant walled terrace and garden furniture. Have some fun and enjoy a dip in the heated pool followed by a game of table tennis outside. Relax as the sun goes down and light up the barbecue for an enjoyable evening meal in this delightful sun trap. The hot tub with a waterfall feature overlooks the enclosed garden with a sheltered walled terrace, brick built gas barbecue, additional Weber coal barbecue (coals supplied) and a wood-fired pizza oven.

For a car free holiday, the owners are happy to collect and deliver guests to and from the station, and for sightseeing trips, you can take the train into historic Canterbury. Enjoy views from the decking down the valley which is occasionally visited by herds of wild deer. This Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is an orchid conservation area, and makes a lovely place to visit in any season. For flower lovers, there are great gardens to visit nearby including the famous gardens at Sissinghurst, Great Dixter, Bateman’s, Scotney Castle and Charleston. The town of Wye is 4 miles away and has a variety of shops, restaurants and pubs, with a farmers’ market every other Saturday. There are also two local pubs within walking distance. The Salomons Estate, found on the edge of Royal Tunbridge Wells, has a rich and eventful history. The name of this historic estate helps preserve the memory of three generations of the extraordinary Salomons family: Sir David Salomons, the first Jewish Lord Mayor of London, who courageously campaigned for the political rights of religious minorities; Sir David Lionel Salomons, a scientist, engineer, photographer and inventor, and Captain David Reginald Salomons, whose heroic self-sacrifice during the First World War has been dramatised in ‘The Dreamers’, a West End musical.
There are woodland walks that take place in the beautiful grounds of the Salomons Estate where you can explore the abundance of wildlife and natural habitats within the 36-acre estate. Explore the grounds independently and see what you discover. The walks take place on gravel paths and woodland trails, so make sure you have suitable footwear, as it can get muddy underfoot. Beautiful country cottage set on its own in a perfect village location of Hernhill just 6 miles in each direction to Faversham, Whitstable and Canterbury only 10 -15 minutes’ drive away. This cosy cottage has beautiful and comfortable country styling and countryside views, on the edge of a pretty village with no immediate neighbours. When the owners are not away they live next door which is completely separate. You will completely have the main cottage entirely to yourselves with private access to the gardens which are for your use only. There is great outdoor seating areas for both dining and relaxing. The location is great as it is in the countryside, but have great access to the seaside being only 6 miles in each direction to the beautiful seaside town of Whitstable, the city of Canterbury and the lovely market town of Faversham.
