The nearby villages benefit from several lovely pubs serving good old pub food and a variety of local ales. Not forgetting the wonderful Lincolnshire Wolds which is an Area of Outstanding Beauty, home to Cadwell Park Race Circuit and is within easy reach with its beautiful scenic walks and bike trails. Tattershall Lakes are 2 miles away from the property, where you can enjoy water sports, jet skis, fishing and much more during your stay.
Lincoln is nearby, famous for its cathedral, castle, the Magna Carta Centre and the International Bomber Command Centre, and is just 35 minutes away in the car. There’s the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitors Centre just around the corner, and the traditional seaside town of Skegness is less than 40 minutes away so bring your bucket and spade for a day on the beach. One of Lincolnshire’s most attractive villages, Woodhall Spa, is only 4 miles away, full of many fine restaurants, home to the National Golf Centre, the last remaining rear projection cinema in the country, an open-air swimming pool, and of course its association with the Dambusters 617 Squadron. During the breeding season a visit to Donna Nook is very popular, where you can see the seals, walk alongside the dunes and beach. A lovely house tucked away in the countryside with open views and just a short drive to the east coat with its miles of sandy beaches. This is sure to be a favourite with both families and couples, located on the edge of a working farm in Northeast Lincolnshire close to both The Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and Cleethorpes a traditional seaside resort. There a many walks and pathways through the local woodland only a few minutes walk from the house.
For days out Market Rasen Racecourse is 15 mins drive, the Cathedral City of Lincoln approximately a 40-minute drive and why not travel north just 25 mins to the Humber Bridge and enjoy a walk over it with spectacular views along the estuary towards Hull. There are many good walks and cycle routes to be had straight from the door of Limber Wold House with a cosy log burner to return after a day exploring the countryside. Beach 14 miles. Brandon is a lovely family holiday home set just 100 yards from the seafront and the beach, in a residential area. Offering spacious accommodation for all the family to spread out and enjoy, it includes a large garden room with a TV and desk space for remote working, as well as a cinema room where you can sit back and enjoy a film. Nearby, just 50 yards away, is a shop and café which also serves food. A stroll along the seafront takes you to Sutton-on-Sea about a mile away or you can continue all the way to Mablethorpe which is about another 2 miles along the promenade. For days out you could enjoy the fun of the traditional seaside amusements at Mablethorpe, catch the bus along the coast to Fantasy Island, Butlins or Skegness which has a fairground, amusements, cinema, aquarium, and fun for all the family to enjoy. Within an hour is the traditional seaside resort of Skegness, Stamford, home of the Burghley Horse Trials, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby, Lincolnshire Aviation Centre, home of Just Jane the WWII Lancaster Bomber, Rutland Water and even the sandy beaches of Norfolk are only just over an hour away.
