Linden Lodge is in a great location, situated in the village of Wick, a perfect holiday base for those who wish to explore the many attractions Wiltshire has to offer, or stay in and enjoy the house and its features.
The house and annexe sleep twenty-six people. The house has five bedrooms, an annexe with two more bedrooms, a living room, a thirty-seater dining table, a fully equipped kitchen with two ovens, and four bathrooms. In the garden you will find a games room, two hot tubs and a BBQ area. There is adequate parking for up to 10 cars.
Bath and Bristol are both less than 10 miles away and under a 20-minute drive, and within a short drive are the picturesque villages of Lacock and Castle Combe, both favourite locations for TV and film directors. Lacock features in Harry Potter, Downton Abbey and Pride and Prejudice, and Castle Combe was the backdrop for War Horse.
Experience the Georgian city of Bath, only 7 miles away by car. With its famous architecture, the Jane Austen Centre, and thermal spa (Thermae), the city offers something for everybody. The Roman Baths, The Royal Crescent, the famous Pulteney Bridge, and the Christmas markets are among the city’s many must see attractions.
Nearby National Trust properties can be found within a short drive, as well as other stately homes. Head to Longleat Safari Park or visit Avebury and Stonehenge, all under an hour away.

The large kitchen is well equipped and provides a social and communal hub for the house all the cooking facilities you could ever need. There is a utility and pantry as well as a boot room, ideal for walking gear and muddy boots, while the conservatory provides a quiet and relaxing area to unwind with a morning coffee. The games room comes complete with full size billiard table, perfect to while away the hours deep into the evening with a glass of wine.

Elm Lodge is set in 15 acres of beautiful private grounds with a mixture of lawns, courtyards, terraces mature gardens and woodland. There is an amazing outdoor terrace with pizza oven, plenty of garden furniture and two large hot tubs, perfect for a dip and to help ease those muscles after a day of adventure. Situated in Ravenstonedale this idyllic location has a beautiful church and a lovely play area next to a pretty river that runs through the village. A choice of three excellent pubs offering quality bar food, local ales and restaurant dining.

Ravenstonedale gives you the best of so many areas to explore and enjoy, surrounded by what is effectively three National Parks. The North Pennines with rolling hills, woodland, and picturesque surroundings. The Yorkshire Dales National Park, with caves, waterfalls, iconic and historical towns and villages and the Lake District National Park with lakes, mountains and any number of tourist hotspots. If you like walking, hiking, climbing, cycling or you just like to drive around beautiful countryside and enjoy afternoon tea and a bit of shopping, you’re spoilt for choice. But you don’t have to travel far, nearby Kirkby Stephen is steeped in history and offers a good selection of bars, restaurants, independent shops and sights to visit. It also offers several walking routes locally, plenty of wildlife and pleasant scenery. The market town of Kendal, 20 miles, is known as the ‘gateway to the southern Lake District’, and perfect for a day of shopping. From here you can easily access the popular tourist hotspots of Windermere, Ambleside and Grasmere as well as take a cruise on the famous Windermere steamers.

Set in the Exe Valley and very accessible from major roads, are these three beautiful properties which all offer the perfect holiday retreat. All or part of the complex can be booked for large groups, parties, or family gatherings. It would make an ideal venue for a wedding, with facilities allowing up to 100 guests to attend, by arrangement.


They each have their individual character including beams and most with wood burners. Duval Priory (ref 9985) dates back to 1086 is also Grade ll listed and enjoys its own private hot tub. Guests can also enjoy the cycle path around the grounds.


With the River Exe, Devonshire Heartland, Somerset and the North Devon coastline on your doorstep, the properties are situated in an excellent countryside location offering a good base to explore the beautiful area and are within easy driving distance of Exmoor National Park and the Devon and Somerset border.


Golf, horse riding, cycling, and fishing are available locally, and clay pigeon shooting, fly fishing. Take a stroll next to the river in the 20-acre grounds. Alternatively, there are many delightful, scenic countryside walks to be found nearby including the spectacular scenic coast between Minehead and Combe Martin. Tiverton, 7 miles, offers a selection of shops, restaurants, and pubs as well as the famous Grand Western Canal and Bickleigh Castle.


The nearest coast with sandy beaches and family attractions including Somerset World and West Somerset scenic steam railway is at the seaside resort of Minehead. The medieval town of Dunster with its magnificent castle, deer park and mill, and the historic cathedral city of Exeter with its variety of shops, restaurants, theatres, racecourse and the Maritime Museum are both 20 miles away.


Delightful Bickleigh, 8 miles, has lovely, thatched inns overlooking the river serving good food and local ales, the perfect location to get away from it all. Taunton, Ilfracombe, Sidmouth, Seaton, and Exmouth within easy driving distance. National Trust properties within easy reach include Knightshayes Court, Powderham Castle and Castle Drogo to name a few. Bampton is 2 miles away, and sailing is available at nearby Wimbleball Lake.
