If you want to take in the Sussex countryside by train, then the Bluebell Steam Railway is a must, or take The Lavender Line at Isfield station for a two-mile round trip between the village of Isfield and Worth Holt. There are some great houses to visit in the area. Anne of Cleves House is less than 5 miles away, and historic Charleston House and Firle Place are less than 20 minutes away.
