Tucked away down a country lane, in between two country pubs and within walking distance of Angmering village with its award-winning vintage style tearoom and an interesting mix of village shops, it truly is a walker’s paradise. Just a stone’s throw from the many paths and trails that lead up onto the South Downs and the surrounding villages. If you prefer to cycle, two complimentary bicycles are available.
Forget-Me-Not sits within its own plot with dedicated parking and offers stunning views which can be savoured from the rocking chairs on the veranda looking out over fields of sheep and horses. Dressed with beautiful antique drop end sofa, stunning Tiffany lighting, cast iron school radiators, a bespoke table and chairs and a country kitchen with solid wood worktops, a hob, microwave, fridge, Brita filter kettle, Dualit toaster, a butler sink, iron and ironing board and an array of crockery and cutlery. The bright modern bathroom includes a double walk-in Mira rainfall shower with separate spray hand shower, heated towel rail, fluffy towels, toilet and basin. The beautiful French inspired double bedroom boasts a crystal finial white bed with quality bedding which hugs a Silentnight memory foam mattress.

There are a host of board games, books, binoculars and free Wi-Fi to complete your experience. Throw open the double stable doors and bring the outside in, or relax in a large bubbling hot tub within your own secluded garden, where the weeping birch tree provides dappled shade on a warm summers day, a rustic picnic table nestles on the lawn and a powder blue bistro set invites you to sit back and enjoy the views over the surrounding fields.
Explore just a few miles further and you will find the historic town of Arundel, the seaside town of Worthing and the Goodwood Estate, where thrilling events such as the famous Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival take place. For guests who would rather leave their cars at home, the owners offer a complimentary collection and drop off service from Goring by Sea train station.

Dating back to the 1600s, The Old Dairy justifies its name. However, it has been beautifully renovated to a high specification with modern and luxurious touches throughout, and is now a wonderful self-catering cottage for two in the heart of the West Sussex countryside.
The kitchen has been cleverly designed with a large hatch overlooking the sitting room area, the perfect way to both show off your culinary skills and enjoy the warmth of the wood burner roaring away in the corner. The conservatory provides a lovely sunny room to dine or doze in on a warm summer’s day, with gorgeous views over the paddocks. After dinner you can curl up, open a book or simply enjoy each other’s company in this relaxed country retreat. If you would like use of a freestanding fridge/freezer please advise before you arrive so access to it can be organised.
Why not bring your horses? This cottage benefits from its own stabling on site and, what’s more, the conservatory looks out over the paddocks where your horses can graze. Equestrian facilities are on offer for up to three horses (by prior arrangement at an additional cost): DIY livery including stabling, grazing paddocks, a lockable tack room and large lorry/horsebox parking on site. Centrally located for all things equestrian: hunts, several competition centres such as Coombelands,Hickstead, Goodwoord, polo clubs (Cowdray, Knepp and Hurtwood), flat racing, point to points at Parham or just hacks (including on the beach). You can explore the countryside on horseback as well as walking and/or cycling in the area.
Why not head out in the morning and return for an invigorating shower in the stunning white-tiled wet room, or take a picnic and wander into the evening skies to watch the sunset with a cold bottle of bubbles. Either way, a wonderful holiday experience in this quiet part of rural Sussex.

These three well-presented cottages, Cloisters Cottage (ref UKC1870), Stable Cottage (ref UKC1871) and Stable End (ref UKC1872) have been converted from parts of a historic building on the outskirts of the ancient Stannary town of Lostwithiel, providing charming holiday accommodation with a little local history attached. Peregrine Hall has 9 acres of woodland, gardens, terraces and walks for you to enjoy or simply relax with a cream tea on the terrace. The house stands on a hill overlooking the town of Lostwithiel, and was a gun site during the English Civil War. It was first known as St Faith’s House of Mercy, a refuge for ‘wayward girls’, who were rescued from Bodmin jail and put to work running a laundry which served Lanhydrock Estate and the local community.
The town of Lostwithiel is well known for being the centre of Cornwall’s antiques industry and is well served with great restaurants, local award winning pubs, craft shops and cafés on the River Fowey. This beautiful river is spanned by an ancient bridge with its own little beach and picnic area, and is within walking distance from Peregrine Hall. The riverside walks along its banks are a must, and if you are lucky you may see kingfishers, otters and other wildlife. Restormel Castle and The Duchy of Cornwall Nurseries are also close by and a must for all that visit the area. Lostwithiel provides the perfect base for touring the Duchy of Cornwall from its north coast with Padstow, Port Isaac and Polzeath, to the south coast with Fowey, Polperro and Mevagissey. All are lovely fishing villages and coastal towns, with many attractions for everyone, from sea fishing and kayaking to surfing and sailing.
The Lanhydrock Estate is a gothic stately home, gardens and grounds which is closely linked with Lostwithiel and is a stunning example of a National Trust house. There are also woodland walks, off road cycle trails and bike hire along with a museum and tea rooms. For the energetic, try golf at Lanhydrock, cycling along the nearby Camel Trail, or a walk to Respryn Bridge can all be enjoyed. Horse riding, cinemas and the renowned Eden Project are easily reached, as indeed, are many National Trust gardens. Beach 7 miles. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
