You will have full access to the whole property which includes a front garden to enjoy the morning sun, and back garden which benefits from the afternoon rays, creating a perfect suntrap. Garden furniture is provided, and guests will also have use of a sauna. Inside the property are two living areas, each with feature fireplaces and wall-mounted 4K smart TVs; there are also two double sofa beds in each for flexible sleeping arrangements. The bright and airy kitchen/dining room features bi-fold doors and creates a fabulous entertaining experience by inviting the outside in. There is seating at the dining table for ten, and additional seating outside for those wishing for an al fresco dining experience. A separate games room with multi-functional 7ft games table for pool and air hockey, and a separate foosball table. The game/cinema rooms can be found in the annex above the garage - Please note that elderly, small children and those with limited mobility may need assistance and support with some of the stairs. This leisure area is accessed through the courtyard area of the property and also houses a ground floor accessible bedroom and wet room. Whilst this bedroom is accessible, the main house ground floor does have a couple of steps to navigate, blocks to make a ramp will be available. Please note the doorways into the main house measure 80cm in width. The main house has a separate lounge with ample comfy seating and warming log burner perfect for those chillier evenings. A fully equipped kitchen and dining room with space for all the family to sit and enjoy an evening meal. The bedrooms have been stylishly furnished in a boutique style with quality mattresses and furnishings.
Porthmadog is a busy harbour town, home to the Welsh Highland Steam Railway. Within easy reach is Black Rock Sands where you’ll find miles of sweeping sands and dunes, and Portmeirion, an enchanting Italian-style village. A short drive is Harlech with its imposing Castle and extensive beach. Nearby Blaenau Ffestiniog, an adrenaline junkie’s delight with Zip World, the largest zip wire zone in the world, Bounce Below, where you can bounce on trampoline nets deep underground in an old slate cavern, and the Stiniog mountain bike trails. Visit the Victorian Gothic mansion of Mount Stuart, the ancestral home of the Marquesses of Bute, and is open to the public along with its beautiful gardens, Bute Museum, Rothesay Castle and the fabulous gardens of Ascog Hall and Ardencraig.
There are many events throughout the year, including the famous annual Jazz Festival, the spectacular Highland Games, traditional agricultural shows, concerts and art festivals; whatever your interest it can be found on the Isle of Bute.
Catch the ferry for the 5-minute trip to Colintraive on the Cowal Peninsula and explore Argyll’s Secret Coast where you have easy access to Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, or head north to Inverary and beyond. Take the ferry from Portavadie over to Jura and Islay, and Tarbert where you can explore Kintyre.
