It’s situated on the main road on the outskirts of Wells, as you approach from Glastonbury. You’ll be in the centre of the city in just over a mile where you’ll find the high street, shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. A visit to Wells Cathedral and the Bishops Palace is a must. There is also a leisure centre with indoor swimming pool. Market days are Wednesday and Saturday and there are two supermarkets within 10 minutes’ walk.
Local places to visit include the mystical town of Glastonbury, famous for its ruined abbey, Rural Life Museum and Glastonbury Tor.
