There are lots to do locally including plenty of walks and many places of interest to visit. Bath, with its world-famous Roman baths and relaxing spa (19 miles), Salisbury (25 miles), Stonehenge, with its visitors’ centre (16 miles), Marlborough (17 miles), and Silbury Hill and Avebury (both 12 miles), are all within easy reach. The picturesque villages of Castle Combe and Lacock, both frequently used as film and TV locations including Harry Potter and Downton Abbey, are within 20 miles.
