This house is located in the centre of Cricklade. Mainly used as a private residence, the owner will occasionally rent the house.
It is a large house with spacious accommodation and an extensive garden backing on to St Sampson’s Church. A door in the garden wall opens directly to the churchyard. It is very suitable for family get togethers over Christmas and the New Year, or in the summer for weddings or bank holiday breaks. The owner has links with a local catering company who can arrange meals for large numbers.
On the ground floor you will find two living areas, a dining area, a well-equipped kitchen with pantry and additional dining table, a boot and coat room with downstairs toilet as well as basement utility with washing machine and ironing facilities. The property has wealth of character with an amazing grand staircase which leads to the first floor. Situated in the north of Wiltshire, Cricklade is a Saxon town and is the southern gateway to the Cotswolds. There are many walks close by, The Thames Path National Trail runs through the town, as well as many other nature reserves close by forming part of the Cotswold Water Park. Cricklade is a perfect base for many, with plenty to do close by.
