Take time to explore the green valley of Eskdale, the splendour of Wasdale, take a trip on the narrow gauge steam railway at Ravenglass, stroll around the lake at Ennerdale or Buttermere, visit the Georgian town of Whitehaven and its popular Marina harbourside, or take a tour of Muncaster Castle and its beautiful gardens. A single track railway line runs along an embankment behind the back garden. The property is reached by ½ mile of rough unmade road/track.
