- St Bees, EnglandThis spacious detached bungalow, refurbished in 2019, features two well-appointed bedrooms, perfect for a restful night’s sleep. The master offers a kingsize bed and a spacious en-suite shower room, while the twin room has full sized single beds (that can be zipped together to make a super kingsize bed) making Highland Cottage an excellent choice for couples and families. After his death, it was passed down to his son, Judge Thomas Fell, and his wife, Margaret. Swarthmoor Hall was visited by the founder of the Quaker movement, George Fox, in 1652. After Thomas Fell’s death, George wed Margaret Fell, and he stayed at the hall intermittently throughout his life.
