Bypassed from the A590, the tiny hamlet of Low Newton lies just inside the Lake District National Park. Its peaceful setting beneath the fells of South Lakeland provides the perfect base from which to explore the Lakes and the Cumbrian coast. The property has one double bedroom and one twin room, both served by a wet room, and there is a spacious open-plan living space. After his death, it was passed down to his son, Judge Thomas Fell, and his wife, Margaret. Swarthmoor Hall was visited by the founder of the Quaker movement, George Fox, in 1652.
