So whether you want the high-end family butcher, the huge selection of freshly ground coffees or unique gifts, Ulverston has it all in walking distance of the property.
    There are some fabulous restaurants in the town with high Tripadvisor ratings. If you like Mexican food, there a great restaurant in the town, but be warned, you will need to book weeks in advance!
    There is lots to do in the South Lakes whatever the weather or time of year. You will pass the Motor Museum on the way into Ulverston, and the Cumbrian Heavy Horse Centre is only a short drive away, as is the South Lakes Zoo (with pre-booking you can be a zoo-keeper for the day).
