    The Bobbin owners are dog friendly and having two of their own, realise the importance of enabling guests to bring their beloved pets on holiday. Doggie hospitality treats are provided plus loan of a waffle dog towel for wiping muddy paws! The owners also offer the loan of a doggy bed, feed, and dog bowls free of charge if required as they appreciate space can be limited when travelling. The beautiful Matlock Forest is only a 5-minute drive away which is dog friendly with many routes to explore!
    The Bobbin is located on the edge of the Peak District giving easy access for exploring lovely villages and towns such as the historic spa town of Matlock just 5 minutes’ drive away with its ’Little Switzerland Gorge’, numerous bars/eateries, ice cream parlour, steam train and boating lake. Matlock Bath is worth a visit with its famous attractions ’Heights of Abraham’ and ’Gullivers Kingdom’. The iconic town of Bakewell is home to the famous Bakewell Pudding. Chatsworth House (the Palace in the Peak) is only a 20-minute drive away. After something more adventurous, then why not visit Carsington for kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, sailing, cycling, or walking. Or visit the historical town of Chesterfield and be amazed by its unusual, crooked spire and lively outdoor market. Alternatively, you can jump on the train at Chinley to any of the Hope Valley stations (as well as both Manchester and Sheffield), and make your way back to the village perhaps stopping at the award-winning traditional country pub, which is less than 1 mile from Naze farm, for food and refreshments.
    The centre of the Chinley is around 0.5 miles from the property and offers a good range of shops and facilities, with both Hayfield and Chapel-en-le-Frith also just 10 minutes away. Within a 20-minute drive is the spa town of Buxton, together with the beautiful villages of both Castleton and Edale. The fascinating plague village of Eyam and ever ever-evolving market town of Bakewell can be reached in around 30 minutes and Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, and Holmfirth Vineyard all around 45 minutes. Finally, by prior arrangement the friendly owners who live onsite will take you on a tour of their small holding to meet the quite wonderful and friendly livestock.
