Take a ferry to Starcross and stroll to Powderham Castle. Stop off at Beer, with caves and a beach; visit Branscombe and Sidmouth with shopping and promenade; or visit Seaton, where you can take a tram ride through the countryside. Close by, there are afternoon river cruises on the Exe Estuary with views of Starcross, Powderham Castle, Topsham, Lympstone and the wildlife, or take a visit to ‘World of Country Life’. Sidmouth’s 18-hole golf course is close by. There are also many National Trust properties close by. Try to get a visit to A la Ronde. Beach just over 1 mile. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 400 yards.

This delightful, spacious holiday home is one of the last adjacent to the steep clifftop pathway which leads you down to the glorious beach overlooking Lundy Island and the Atlantic Ocean. The coastal path passes by the cottage and leads you to the famous fishing village of Clovelly and the unspoilt beach at Peppercombe, or if you are feeling energetic, walk all the way to Westward Ho!
    A village store and post office is one mile away and nearby Bideford has restaurants and town amenities along with boat trips to Lundy Island, or hire a bike and explore the nearby Tarka Trail. RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Docton Mill and Hartland Quay are well worth a visit along with many pretty fishing villages to explore including nearby Instow and Appledore.
