The Dorset and East Devon Coast, known as the Jurassic Coast, features many natural landmarks including Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Chesil Beach, and offers a selection of the finest sandy beaches to be found in the UK. The Jurassic Coast is ideal for exploring on foot, by bicycle or on horseback.

Beer has a lovely pebble beach, plenty of shops and restaurants, and quarry/caves which is open to visitors. Honiton market town is the home of Honiton lace and hosts a street market on a Saturday.
