The open plan living area on the ground floor comprises a living area with a TV and electric fire, a dining area and the kitchen with all you’ll need for your stay. There’s also a washing machine in the building’s main hallway. Parking is available in the surrounding streets or the main town car park which is located within yards of the property.

Now, this detached cottage, adjacent to the owners’ home, makes an ideal base from which to explore this great part of north Devon. Located within walking distance of Ilfracombe’s pretty harbour and attractions, including Damien Hirst’s ’Verity’, which stands guard over the harbour entrance. Some of these attractions and sights include the Victorian Tunnels Beaches, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Watermouth Castle and the Lynton to Lynmouth cliff railway. At Croyde and Woolacombe, you will find some of the best and cleanest surf beaches in the country, as well as many smaller coves and bays. Exmoor is a short distance away, and on a clear day the views can be spectacular. There are National Trust properties at Arlington and Knightshayes, and the RHS gardens at Rosemoor at Great Torrington. Beach ¾ mile.
