Regular ferries to the Isle of Wight depart from the famous royal yachting town of Lymington. Bournemouth beach is close by, being 4 miles away. At the foot of the pier is the fascinating Oceanarium where the whole family can discover life beneath the waves. Poole is within easy reach, with its sandy beach at Sandbanks and the harbour town where trips to Brownsea Island (National Trust) can be enjoyed.
