It is perfect for 10 people - 11th & 12th person incurs additional cost per stay. We're a 10 min walk from the station (parking available) and a 7 min stroll in the centre of York. Situated just off ‘Bishy Road’ (voted Britain’s best high street) there's also fantastic independent shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes, delis and takeaways just a minute walk away.

107 Nunnery Lane is a stylish, pet friendly townhouse with a courtyard & basement cinema. It sleeps 5 but an additional z-bed can be requested for a 6th person (£20 fee per stay). Parking is available and we're very close to the station. 107 is located off ‘Bishy Road’ (voted Britain’s best high street) with independent shops, pubs, cafes & delis. You can also rent 109 Nunnery Lane allowing bookings of up to 12. Additional £20 charge for dogs.

107 Nunnery is delightful property located just moments from the heart of the historic city of York. Set over four floors you enter the property on the ground floor into the open plan living space. This is a great area to relax with its 2 comfy sofas, a wood burner and a smart TV with Netflix and Britbox. The kitchen area is well equipped for all your culinary needs along with a dining area complete with a table which seats six people. Down one flight of stairs you have a fantastic cinema/games room which boosts a 75 inch Smart TV along with an adult size table football, a great place to keep the children entertained.
On the second floor you have two bedrooms, one is the master bedroom with a king size bed and the other with a single. On the same floor you have a gorgeous bathroom which boasts a Japanese style deep soaking tub where you can sit back and relax after a day’s exploring, the bathroom also offers a shower cubicle and underfloor heating. Up another flight of stairs, you have an attic bedroom with a double bed which can be split into twins on request and an additional bed for a 6th person can also be set up for an extra charge. To the rear of the property, you have a lovely private courtyard area which is ideal to have a glass of fizz al fresco style in the warm summer months.
York is the one of the most visited cities outside of London and is popular throughout the whole year with numerous festivals and magical Christmas markets. In addition, 107 is situated just off ‘Bishy Road’ that recently beat 230 contenders to be crowned Britain’s Best High Street. You also have many attractions within walking distance from the property including the iconic minster, Railway Museum and Clifford’s Tower; admire the beautiful architecture at the Merchant Adventurers’ Hall, step back in time at the Jorvik Centre and the Castle Museum. Stroll along the cobbles down the world-famous Shambles or take one of the terrifying night-time ghost walks which are a must.

The Old Chapel is well-positioned in the quiet village of Thoralby, set just off the village green. The property boasts the traditional features of the original chapel, including windows and exposed wooden beams. The property has been furnished to a good standard and provides rural accommodation for families and couples alike. The bedrooms are spacious, and there is a large games room that is positioned in the roof of the chapel. Situated in the living room, a feature wood burner makes this property perfect for the colder, winter months. After a busy day exploring this delightful location, head back to the property, and snuggle into the comfortable sofas, where you can watch the flames dance around the fire.
This property provides idyllic accommodation for walking or cycling enthusiasts, with many routes available close by. This area provides a paradise for bird watchers, with birds of prey, owls, oyster catchers, lapwing and grouse. If you love to be outdoors, then this property is the perfect base for you. Watch the abundance of wildlife nearby, including red squirrel, hare and deer. For a more relaxed day, the popular market towns of Hawes and Leyburn are a short drive away. As are many delightful Dales villages including Aysgarth with its popular falls and Semerwater Lake. Part time village shop 100 yards, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

This imposing Edwardian country house stands in its own garden overlooking sheep grazing the common at Goathland, whilst the views of moors and forest may be enjoyed from the west-facing terrace. Set in the village of Goathland, perhaps better known as Aidensfield from the TV series Heartbeat, in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, it is in an excellent area for walking – the North Yorks Moors steam railway stops at the village station on its journey from Pickering to Grosmont. Horse riding can also be found nearby.
Whitby being only 9 miles away is a picturesque seaport famous for its Captain Cook connections, where the cobbled streets and yards stand in the shadow of the Abbey, overlooking the harbour. The 3 miles of sandy beaches lead to the pretty coastal village of Sandsend. Robin Hood’s Bay (renowned as a bygone smugglers’ haunt), Runswick Bay and Staithes are all worth a visit. Inland, the moors are scattered with villages, many with excellent inns. Goathland itself offers an excellent choice of inns and restaurants, in addition to local shops, post office and cafés. Scarborough 23 miles. York 38 miles. Beach 9 miles. Pub and restaurant ½ mile.

This holiday property is set in the grounds of Maddy House Farm, which dates back to the 15th century. It is surrounded by over 20 acres of its own fields, with breathtaking views across the moorland towards Castleton, which has co-op, tea rooms with part time post office and two pubs. The Heritage Coast of Yorkshire and Whitby are easily accessed, and you can take a leisurely journey through the Esk Valley. Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington can be found a little further afield. A must when visiting this area are the smugglers coves of Robin Hoods Bay, Staithes and Runswick Bay. Visit stately homes such as Duncombe Park, Nunnington Hall and Castle Howard, which are all within easy driving distance. Shop and pub serving food 1 mile.

Buryemwick is an 18th-century Cottage steeped in history, nestled in the idyllic Washburn Valley with uninterrupted views of Swinsty Reservoir. The property has undergone a full refurbishment to create a luxurious holiday home that is both in keeping with tradition, yet fully equipped with all the modern amenities you would expect from a luxury holiday home. Buryemwick is set within the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, surrounded by spectacular countryside making it a haven for walkers, cyclists and those just wanting to take some time out and enjoy some peace and tranquillity.
Families and groups can enjoy the views whilst relaxing in the garden which includes a patio with a hot tub, decking, barbecue and sun loungers, a great place to watch the sunset whilst having a glass of fizz, al fresco style. There is lockable storage for bikes and an area for washing your canine friends should you choose to bring them along with you. The property is extremely spacious and ideal for family gatherings of up to eight people. It features a large kitchen which is well equipped for food preparation, also creating a great area to socialise. Otley, 7 miles, is a great place to enjoy a walk along the river and the closest town for supermarkets etc. You also have instant access to explore the National Trust site of Brimham Rocks, 8.6 miles, and the World Heritage Site Fountains Abbey, 12 miles, which are both a must.

This is a detached property encircled by a very pretty, welcoming garden, tucked away down a peaceful side road with the benefit of still being easy walking distance to the town. There is a shared gravel driveway leading to gated parking for one car outside the house.
Inside is a large modern kitchen complete with large Aga which also has a gas stove and oven extension as well as underfloor heating and a large dining table perfect for entertaining. The kitchen opens out through glass doors on one side to a private courtyard with patio furniture and on the other to the enclosed garden. It is well-equipped for all your culinary needs. This leads through to the most fabulous open plan living area with three arched glass doors facing the garden, bathing the room in light. Helmsley is where the Howardian Hills and the North York Moors National Park collide, offering some of the finest views and countryside around. Helmsley is also a paradise for walkers where the Ebor way, Cleveland Way and Inn Way meet. With a great reputation for its hospitality, Helmsleys market square is a meeting point for locals, walkers and cyclists alike. This beautiful Yorkshire town has many independent shops, cafés and eateries including a Michelin star restaurant in the nearby village of Harome 2 miles away, castle ruins, a walled garden and café, Bird of Prey centre, microbrewery and two abbey ruins. There is also an award winning spa. The stately home of Duncombe Park is just a short walk away, as is the open air swimming pool which is a popular attraction in the summer months. For those evenings when you don’t feel like cooking or are looking for a special spot to celebrate an occasion, you can find a plethora of places to eat and pubs to enjoy just a short stroll away, as well a number of shops for picking up the range of essentials. For those feeling adventurous, don your walking boots and hike along the Cleveland Way clifftop trail to soak up the stunning scenery, or during the summer months soak up the sunshine at the golden sands before taking a stroll to Hunmanby Gap or in the other direction to Brigg, with its shallow rock pools awaiting to be discovered, great for those with younger guests.
