The rural setting is an excellent base for exploring East Yorkshire’s magnificent coastline with its wealth of sandy beaches, RSPB bird reserves, and traditional seaside towns of Hornsea, Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough with activities for all ages. Within walking distance is Honey Suckle Farm a great day out for children offering delicious ice-cream and cart rides. Also, Wassand Hall a grand Regency House and walled garden (open on selected days) and Hornsea Mere (that has over 250 species of birds) a cafe and opportunities for sailing, fishing or feeding your leftover crusts to the ducks and swans.

This holiday home is perfect for families to gather and celebrate spending time together. The country style kitchen offers a host of modern appliances. There is plenty of work top space for preparing delicious home cooked meals for the family.
Springdale Farmhouse offers three different living rooms. The main area provides seating for the full group, a warming open fire for the cooler winter months and garden access out to the hot tub. In the evening take one of the two staircases to the floors above and find a selection of bedrooms to choose from. The master bedroom offers far reaching views and includes an en-suite. There are a further four bedrooms on the first floor. The final bedroom can be found on the second floor and spans the full length of the house. With vaulted ceilings, very low beams (height approximately 5 foot) and two zip and link super king size beds, this room is ideal for the younger visitors in the group. An enclosed formal courtyard sits to the rear of Springdale Farmhouse and is a sun trap during the summer months, and to the front of the house are neatly trimmed lawns and wood fired hot tub; here you can enjoy the stunning views, keep an eye out for deer, hares and owl or simply star gaze late into the night.

Fox Cottage is a delightful grade II listed cottage dating back to the 1780’s and can be found just a short stroll from the centre of the historic town of Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Retaining many of its original features, it is ideal for couples or friends, this retreat promises a memorable stay and is perfectly placed to explore the Yorkshire Wolds as well as the stunning coastline.
The living room offers exposed wooden floors and a cosy wood burner for the cooler winter months, here you can snuggle up on an evening to enjoy a relaxing night in front of the TV. French doors open up into the dining room. The dining table provides plenty of seating for four and is the ideal place to gather together to plan the day events. The galley style kitchen sits close by with a host of appliances including an electric oven and hob and a washing machine. There is plenty of work top space from which to prepare a hearty breakfast or a delicious evening meal. Traditional cottage stairs take you to the first floor of Fox Cottage and here you will find two well presented double bedroom, each with soft furnishings and in built wardrobes. A quirky house bathroom completes the accommodation with a free standing bath and shower attachment; the sloping ceiling really adds character to this room. Outside you will find additional seating on the patio that also has a raised decked area. This sunny spot is perfect for an early morning coffee or a relaxing afternoon in the sun.
Opposite Fox Cottage is Beverley Beck which is perfect for an evening stroll of perhaps enjoy a boat ride on one of the leisure boats. Beverley is a gem of a town with it’s towering gothic Minster, pretty market squares, cobbled streets and beautiful Georgian townhouses. It is steeped in history and offers a plethora of independent boutiques and tea rooms and is famous for its café culture and Michelin starred restaurants. Take a stroll out of town and explore Westood, a vast pasture home to a racecourse and golf course. It’s also offers walking and cycling opportunities. Within a short drive of Beverly is the thriving seaside town of Hornsea with its Victorian promenade and sandy beach and inland the Yorkshire Wolds are waiting to be explored. The historic market town of York is under an hours drive away as are the stately homes of Castle Howard, Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere House. A large, well-equipped, galley-style kitchen offers all the mod cons. A door also leads outside to additional seating where you can enjoy an early morning coffee or an evening glass of wine and a good book during the warmer summer months. April Cottage offers two beautifully presented bedrooms, with the master bedroom having doors leading out to a private balcony with sea views; ideal for a spot of sun bathing or a quiet place to sit and watch the sun rise over the sea. To the rear of this pretty cottage is an enclosed paved garden. Sea The Stars is a versatile three bedroom property sleeping up to seven guests in the traditional Yorkshire seaside town of Hornsea and has a private hot tub. It is just a short 100 yard walk across the green to the beach and seafront amenities, and is the perfect holiday home for family or friends.
Beautifully presented, Sea The Stars is a bright and airy mid-terrace house which benefits from large bay windows, high ceilings and a dog friendly, enclosed garden. On the ground floor is a spacious living room with a flatscreen Smart TV and deep comfortable sofas, one of which provides flexible sleeping for one guest as a sofa bed.
