The National Trust Lyme Park with its glorious house and gardens can be reached on foot or by car and the magnificent historic houses of Chatsworth, Haddon Hall and the popular market town of Bakewell, 45 minute’s drive. A variety of Peak District villages are all easily reachable within half an hour’s drive including Edale, Tideswell and Castleton, and great days out for the family within an hour’s drive include the local Chestnut Centre Wildlife Park, Carsington Water, Matlock Bath with is cable car and the UK’s premier theme park Alton Towers. Brackenwood is a distinguished and spacious, six-bedroomed period house with a separate two-bedroom cottage annexe, located on the beautiful Wirral Peninsula. Offering far-reaching views, the property is detached and gated with CCTV making it private and secure. Filled with as much history as it has character and charm, it offers flexible and usable accommodation. The main house covers three levels, is beautifully presented, and luxuriously modernised to match the needs of today’s living. Upon entering via the original period front door, the grand entrance hall opens to a spacious sitting room where there’s a Fendi chaise lounge, comfy sofas, Smart TV, parquet flooring and beautiful Persian rugs.
