    The beach is just a 5-minute walk away from the garden gate. Off the drive, there is a lawned area and to the side of the house a heated outdoor shower for when you return from the beach. The equipment store has a range of children’s wetsuits and storage for boards. Once cleaned off, you can luxuriate in the state-of-the-art Aspen and Spruce spa with a sauna, experiential shower plus ice-bucket for the brave.     There are many tourist attractions in the surrounding area from man-made to natural, such as Crealy Adventure Park, Lappa Valley Railway, Newquay SeaLife Centre, plus several National Trust gardens, such as Lanhydrock and Trerice Manor. Watergate Bay is nearby and Padstow, with many excellent eateries including Rick Stein’s restaurant and excellent fish and chip shops, is a short drive along the most beautiful coast roads in the country.
