The open plan living area is filled with light and creates an inviting space to gather and plan the next days adventure, the small kitchen area is well-equipped for rustling up a holiday feast. Two cosily decorated bedrooms will leave you feeling relaxed at the end of a busy day. The lodge benefits from plenty of private and shared outside green space yet tucked away in a peaceful little corner of the grounds. There are restaurants and bars on-site, with entertainment lined up to keep adults and children busy.
    Sandy Cott is just outside Kilkhampton, which dates back to before Saxon times. Kilkhampton is the location of the remains of a 12th Century motte and bailey style Norman castle and the church of St James the Great, which is over 450 years old. Both of the pubs in the village serve excellent food.
    Situated just north of Bude, with fabulous access to all the glorious beaches, including Northcott Mouth and Sandymouth, which is just south of Duckpool beach at the bottom of the Coombe Valley and Stowe Woods. They all have glorious expanses of golden sand at low tide. Bude itself has a wealth of restaurants, pubs, cafes, and galleries, a great playground and historic castle and canal. Further north and you are over the border into Devon, where Clovelly is well worth a visit. Beach 3¼ miles.

    Recently renovated this stunning barn conversion has been tastefully decorated and equipped and is spacious, bright and welcoming, yet the underfloor heating will insure this property remains ideal for a winter break. There are a wealth of things to do on the farm to keep youngsters entertained including plethora of farm animals, a communal swimming pool which is heated and will be open for use between May half term and mid September, a tennis court, games room and play area.
    This comfortable, dog friendly, holiday home is a 15-minute walk from Widemouth Bay which is a fantastic beach and has a vast expanse of golden sands at low tide and many rock pools to explore. The surf is often outstanding, the sun hits the beach for most of the day and the sunsets over the sea are simply magical. 3 miles to the north is Bude, a vibrant, bustling little tourist town with a wealth of restaurants and amenities.
    For walkers and cyclists the area is full of superb routes and Bude lies at the centre of the most dramatic stretch of the south west coastal footpath. There are numerous local villages and landmarks to explore and much of the area is a nature lovers paradise. Bude is only a couple of minutes down the road and has the full range of facilities that one would expect of a small town including a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurant.
    Bude is possibly more diverse than any other holiday destination in Cornwall. Most major villages, towns and attractions are within an hour’s drive; and because Bude sits on the county border, visitors can explore the delights of both Devon and Cornwall at their leisure. Look past the eight main beaches and many smaller hidden coves and you will soon see there really is something for everyone. In the centre of Bude there is a huge, sandy beach which is a favourite with children and adults alike,there are a host of pubs, cafés and restaurants to suit every palate. There is a new Visitors Centre in the Crescent car park, a large children’s play area, a 19th century canal and a small wharf amongst many other attractions. Bude is also home to the internationally acclaimed jazz festival which takes place each August. Beach 1.5 miles.
