The famous cliffside Minack Theatre is just over a mile and half away, overlooking beautiful Porthcurno beach, both worth a visit at any time of year. You are spoilt for beautiful beaches, Porthchapel is 1.3 miles away Porthgwarra is 1.4 and Sennen Cover is 2 miles. West Cornwall is particularly attractive during the Spring and early Summer, when the daffodils and wildflowers are at their best. Bird watchers and walkers return to the area year after year to enjoy the early and late season and, of course, the coastal path which is a short walk from The Vineries. You can access the footpath to Nanjizal cove and foot path from the property.
The nearest train station is at Penzance 7.5 miles away which is also the nearest town. Here you will find an assortment of shops, cafés restaurants as well as the working harbour. Why not leave the car behind and catch one of the local buses which operate all year, or the open topped bus operating in the summer months? Parking in the summer is not easy so relax and take the scenic route.
