Set on the outskirts of one of Worcestershire’s most beautiful villages, Elmley Castle, nestling below the northern slopes of Bredon Hill in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Lodge at Elmley Meadow is situated on a small holding with sheep and chickens, and is attached to the discreet and friendly owners’ home, with views to Bredon Hill. The 11th-century Norman and Medieval castle, where the village derives its name, has long since disappeared but the earthworks still remain in the nearby deer park. The nearby market towns of Pershore and Evesham have a range of shops, restaurants and pubs and are only 3 and 5 miles away, and can also be accessed by the local bus route which departs from outside the village pub.
