The Flamborough Heritage Coastline offers miles of walking/cycling opportunities as well as the stunning RSPB Bempton Cliffs. Danes Dyke Nature Reserve is also worth a visit. For two sandy beaches, working harbour and Victorian Promenade take a trip down the coast to Bridlington. Burton Agnes Hall, Sledmere House and gardens and Sewerby Hall and garden are close by. The historic city of York is just an hour away and there is a choice of golf courses.

To the north of the property lies Filey and Scarborough, both very popular seaside resorts with excellent beaches as well as plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Both Scarborough and Bridlington have leisure complexes with pools and slides, and plus there’s the ever popular Sea Life centre on Scarborough seafront.
