There is an open plan living/dining room, kitchen, separate toilet, utility room and a family bathroom. Albany House has plenty of space for two couples or a couple with children.     Situated in the coastal town of Seaford, where you will find fish and chips, restaurants, bars, cafés, and a shopping area. Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway Adventure Park is less than 15 miles away and the nearest airport is London Gatwick Airport. Brighton Pier is less than 15 miles, taking 30 minutes by car along the A259. Eastbourne Pier is just over ten miles away and takes approximately 25 minutes by car along the A259. There is a good bus route to both Brighton and Eastbourne. Seven Sisters national park is less than 10 miles away and there is a bus that takes you there. Great place for walking, cycling, wildlife spotting, kayaking and paddle boarding.

    Cuckmere Valley has views of the Seven Sisters and has a flower-rich chalk grasslands, a haven for flowers and wildlife. A great spot for artists, bird watchers and photographers. Glyndebourne Opera House is only thirty minutes away where you can see some of the world’s best opera singers and operas. If you want to stay closer to home, Seaford seafront is 0.2 miles away and has free parking and in walking distance of the Seaford town. Beach 1 mile. Pub less than a mile.     You enter the cottage into a small hallway with stairs leading up to the bedrooms and a door leading to the open plan living area. There is a fully fitted kitchen to the front of the property with everything you could possibly need during your stay including a Nespresso coffee machine. The dining area has table and chairs to comfortably seat four. The living area has a sofa and occasional chair with plenty of cushions and throws to make this a cosy spot to while away an evening. There is Sky TV, DVD player with a selection of DVDs and board games available for when you just want to kick back and relax. French doors lead to an enclosed terrace with table and chairs for al fresco dining or a morning brew, the perfect sun trap. For the summer months a barbecue with charcoal is provided for use on the terrace. The first floor has a double bedroom to the rear and has been tastefully furnished with scatter cushions, pretty throws, digital radio and magazines giving a real feel of luxury. Always a good start to any visit to Rye is the town’s Heritage Centre. Here you can watch the Town Model Sound and Light show which goes into detail about the history and the colourful past of Rye and it’s inhabitants or wander upstairs and play the Old Penny Pier Machines and giggle at the Laughing Sailor. If antiques interest you then visit the Strand Quay where you can try your hand at bartering and grab yourself a bargain. Rye benefits from a good selection of independent boutiques and coffee/tea shops to enjoy at your leisure. Camber Sands is 3 miles away and can be reached by a cycle path all the way from Rye to the beach if you wish to walk or cycle or by car.
