Slightly further afield but within a 30-minute drive are the popular destinations of Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon, the regency town of Cheltenham and the medieval town of Burford. Just under 2 miles away is Moreton-in-Marsh, a lovely Cotswold market town with many independent shops, pubs and cafés, and a railway station linking you to London Paddington and Great Malvern. Bourton-on-the-Hill is a great base in the Cotswolds from which to explore the many towns and villages this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has to offer, including Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden, Chipping Norton, Bourton-on-the-Water and Broadway.
