The owners, who live on-site along with their dogs and animals, are available should you need any help. Adjacent to the owner’s home, where Charles Dickens wrote five chapters of his novel, ‘David Copperfield’. Dickens, considered to be one of the greatest English novelists of the Victorian period, enjoyed a wider popularity and fame than had any previous author during his lifetime and continues to remain popular, having been responsible for some of English literature’s most iconic novels and characters. 2024 is the 75th anniversary of his residence in Bonchurch.
