Princessa Cottage is a welcoming and cosy, terraced coastal cottage within a minutes’ walk of Bembridge beach on the east of the Isle of Wight. The cottage has a sociable and comfortable, open plan kitchen, dining and living area with feature lighting and patio door leading to a rear enclosed courtyard with table and chairs and even a place for buckets and spades. On the ground floor is a separate toilet and bedroom with a single day bed. St Helens is a coastal village on the east side of the island, with a village pub and shop just a moment’s stroll away from Coed Faen. There is a large village green that offers excellent views over the busy harbour of Bembridge, and is also home to the ruins of St Helens Church which was destroyed by a wave in the 18th century. A lovely beach is not far away either, making this location lots of fun for the kids and adults alike. Despite being a small village St Helens has some great places to eat. There are a couple of popular restaurants and cafés, one of which sits beach-side down at the Duver. The Isle of Wight has lots to offer. Outdoor pursuits on the island are well catered for and include horse riding, fishing, cycling, paragliding, water sports and golf.
There are numerous attractions for all ages across the island including The Needles with its chairlift, amusement park, boat rides, lighthouse and coloured sands of Alum Bay. You can also visit Queen Victoria’s favourite holiday residence, Osborne House and its gardens, as well as Blackgang Chine, the oldest themed attraction in the UK, Ventnor Botanical Gardens, Tapnell Farm Park, Carisbrooke Castle or the sailing towns of Yarmouth and Cowes.

The large farmhouse kitchen has all the necessary appliances required for your holiday and the whole property is integrated with a Sonos music system, which includes a connection to the outside space. There is a laundry room with two washing machines and two tumble dryers along with a butler sink. You also have an office space if you have the unfortunate dilemma of having to work whilst on holiday. A games room with a pool table and a darts board is fun for all the family. The formal living room with a cosy fireplace, is perfect for a relaxing evening, but should you wish to dine formally, then you can do so in a separately in a lovely room which seats up to eight people. There is a tranquil Pebble room with bi-folding doors that leads out to the indoor-outdoor area with a kitchen, BBQ area with an outdoor fireplace, a hidden drop-down Smart TV with steps sinking into the heated pool. The stunning pool area is complemented with loungers resting in shallow water attached to the pool. There is a hot tub area and gazebo with outdoor sofas and plenty of seating for comfort and outside dining.
From the spacious entrance is a grand staircase leading to the four bedrooms. The master bedroom has its own wing of the house, whilst three of the bedrooms can be provided with a travel cot. All bedrooms in Hampton House are furnished to a very high standard with en-suites and air conditioning.
