Winford is a neighbouring district to Apse Heath, which has a small supermarket store, and there is a bigger store a short drive away. You’ll enjoy beautiful woodland walks in the nearby Borthwood Copse, where you will find an array of different trees and plenty of wildlife. The main cycle path from Sandown to Newport is accessed a few minutes away in Alverstone Village and the shopping town of Newport is about 15-20 minutes’ drive away, making this spot an ideal base to explore the whole Island.
