Golden Hill Fort is situated within 50 acres of Golden Hill Country Park. Originally built in 1863 in a distinctive hexagonal shape, which is elevated 60 metres above the north west coast of the Isle of Wight. This spectacular Grade I listed building has now been beautifully converted into 18 luxury houses.

Internally, the property offers brick barrel vaulted ceilings with coloured LED mood lighting, solid oak floors with underfloor heating and high quality appliances. Externally, the communal rooftop gardens (approximately 5,500 square metres), offers stunning, panoramic 360 degree views across the Solent, English Channel and the countryside. These are the only landscaped rooftop gardens on a Grade I listed building in the country. The central courtyard is where the parking spaces are located and features a large water fountain.

West Wight is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is the ideal spot for catching a glimpse of the local wildlife, walking or just enjoying the beautiful countryside. Sea Breezes can sleep up to six guests and offers a spacious double bedroom on the ground floor with a kingsize bed as well as a downstairs toilet on the same level for a comfortable stay for lesser able bodied guests. Having undergone a thorough refurbishment, the interior is contemporary, clean and very comfortable with lots of space for children. Externally the property includes an enclosed garden with a patio area and provides a storage area for bicycles. On the first floor there are two further bedrooms, a super kingsize double bedroom with zip and link bed which can be twin beds upon request, and a twin room, along with a family bathroom and a separate shower/dressing room.
Situated in the scenic village of Totland, it is only two miles from the quaint harbour town of Yarmouth. The fantastic Totland Bay is located only a short distance away along Madeira Road, just a 5 minute walk, where you can find a bar and restaurant and a cafe to try the exquisite seafood, experience some of the finest sunsets or enjoy a stroll along to neighbouring Colwell Bay, which is one of the most picturesque beaches in the west. There are spectacular views across the Solent to mainland England, with clear, calm waters and gently sloping sand and shingle, it’s an ideal beach for swimming. For surfers and kite surfing enthusiasts, there is Compton Bay a short drive away. One of the Isle of Wight’s best kept secrets Compton offers a two mile stretch of contrasting dark and golden sands, with rolling seas, and a stunning backdrop of multi-coloured sandstone cliffs. It’s also a great place to go fossil hunting, you can actually book tours on the beach to see the dinosaur footprints in the sandstone ledge at Hanover Point that are exposed when at low tide.
Whether you want to explore or just unwind, Sea Breezes can offer you everything you need for the perfect holiday. There are numerous attractions to discover for all ages on this beautiful sunny island. The Needles Landmark attraction is a must see and is a short distance away to the west, with its chairlift, amusement park, boat rides, lighthouse and coloured sands of Alum Bay. Within 3 miles of Polly’s Place, you will find Compton beach, one of the island’s best kept secrets. Two miles of beautiful, golden, and dark sands. And if you are lucky, you may even find a fossil! A short drive takes you to Yarmouth, with its pretty harbour and quaint shops, or the world-famous Needles, whilst leisurely walks can be enjoyed over Tennyson Down.

Tennyson Down House is a beautiful four bedroom Victorian detached holiday home located 500 yards from the tranquil Freshwater Bay and within walking distance of cafes, restaurant and grocers. Arriving at Tennyson Down House, you will enter via double gates on to the driveway, through the front door you are welcomed in to the bright and airy hallway with new oak flooring throughout the downstairs. It leads to the living room with an open fireplace, Smart TV, sofas and French doors on to the front garden. Also on the ground floor is the large open-plan kitchen/dining room with a breakfast bar. The stunning fitted kitchen comes with electric oven, induction hob and fridge/freezer, opening on to the breakfast bar where you can enjoy a morning coffee or breakfast. The dining area, with large oak refectory table, offers a bright feel with French doors opening on to the garden. Also on the ground floor is a large spacious utility room with a door leading on to a courtyard where you can find an outdoor shower which is perfect to wash the sand off after a day on the beach, in the utility room there is a washing machine, tumble dryer and second fridge. There is also a shower room located on the ground floor.
On the first floor is the master bedroom with a double bed and a beautiful en-suite with a roll top bath with shower attachment. Bedroom two has a double bed and en-suite with a shower cubicle, bedroom three offers three single beds and bedroom four is a double. Both the master bedroom and second bedroom offer views of the sea across the bay. There is also a family bathroom with bath and shower attachment. The garden is located at the front of the property and is mainly laid to lawn with garden furniture and picnic table. The house is a few yards from open National Trust downland, 2½ miles from the world famous Needles attraction, one of many places to visit during your trip. The Bay itself is perfect for swimming, playing on the beach and offers some water sports. Golf is available at Freshwater Bay Golf Club ¾ mile away, offering fantastic views across the bay. For walkers and cyclists you can use the local paths, long distance trails and sea path, or even complete the whole island which is just under 70 miles around. The location of the property offers many different activities or just relax. Travel via ferry from Lymington, Southampton or Portsmouth, Yarmouth is the nearest ferry car and foot passenger terminal which is 3 miles to the property.
