Manor Farmhouse dates back to Tudor times, with later Victorian additions. It is a fabulous, comfortable family home full of quirky original features and some uneven floors which all add to the charm and sense of history. The farmhouse is located in the small hamlet of Little Mongeham (pronounced munjam!) and is a short drive to Deal which is a really vibrant seaside town. It has a long pier, a long stretch of beach, a pretty conservation area with lovely independent shops, and great restaurants and cafes. Sandwich is also a short drive, full of history and charm and home to two championship golf courses.
The surrounding countryside is ideal for walkers and cyclists and the White Cliffs Trail passes by the farmhouse. This 28 mile circular walk passes through the towns of Dover, Deal and Sandwich, going along the famous ’white cliffs’ to the east of Dover to Deal with an inland return through the beautiful Kent countryside.
