    Acre Hill Lodge provides comfortable accommodation for up to six guests, and is all on one floor. Set on the edge of a working farm so there will be hens, ducks, cats and highland cattle around and with picturesque countryside views, the lodge provides everything you need to enjoy your time away. Upon arrival you are greeted by an allocated parking area for up to two cars, parking available for a 3rd car in the main drive way in, and an enclosed garden can be found at the front of the lodge, the ideal place to enjoy a bistro-style breakfast and enjoy the view with your furry friends.
    Entering the property, you are greeted by an open plan living space, where your fully fitted kitchen awaits you providing everything you need to rustle up those home cooked meals. Don’t fancy cooking? Why not treat yourself at a local restaurant or café, a short drive away. Relax and unwind in the living area and enjoy the warmth of the wood burner while you watch your favourite show or movies. When sleep calls, you have three bedrooms to choose from to sink down and rest your head. The children’s bedroom has a bunk bed and TV (bunk bed not suitable for adults).
    Enjoy the splendid location and picturesque scenery. Bolton by Bowland has shops, tea rooms, restaurants and bars, and is a short drive away. There is so much to do here from popular woodland walks and famous forests, to a golf course, castle, swimming pool and pet farms.
    It is centrally located for visiting the Ribble Valley, Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District National Parks. Clitheroe provides the best of both worlds, including local gift shops, restaurants, takeaways and cafés, but is also a wonderful escape for keen walkers, nature lovers and cyclists too. Situated in the heart of the Ribble Valley, you are simply spoilt for choices of walks and local attractions. Explore the famous Forest of Bowland, known for being an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are plenty of opportunities for golf, fishing, horse riding and hiking. The ancient Roman town of Ribchester is just a couple of miles to the south, home to the Ribchester Roman Museum and a fantastic choice of pubs and restaurants.
