This period property has all the up-to-date conveniences that discerning guests require for their perfect getaway. In the dining room, you can still see the old butler bells that were used to summon ‘the help’ in days gone by. There are also traditional open fires and a wood burner to relax by, yet the feel of this beautiful property is still modern, fresh and very light and airy. Fakenham, EnglandSituated in a quiet position overlooking grazed meadowland, quite often the flight path of the resident barn owl, The Old Saddlery is a short distance from the main 16th-century Colkirk Hall farmhouse, rumoured to play host to members of the Gun Powder Plot. The property dates back to the mid-1700s, formally a cart shed and stables and latterly a saddlery through until the mid-1980s when it was remodelled into the Old Saddlery. You will find the first floor situated within the eaves of the property containing bedroom three, along with a bathroom.
