Royal Villas Apartment is a charming, ground floor apartment located in the centre of the fashionable spa town of Harrogate, the heart of Yorkshire. The owners have furnished the property traditionally with a modern twist which guests will find homely and cosy. Set over one floor, the apartment has a comfortable living/dining area which boasts a Smart TV, and the dining table and chairs are set by the large bay window. A great feature of the property is the original, stone, ornamental fireplace, as well as high ceilings throughout in keeping with the age of this beautiful Victorian villa. On the same floor you will find the kitchen, which is well equipped and well presented, offering all the appliances you require should you not wish to dine out at the many superb eateries close by; additionally, there is also a small breakfast bar. Completing the accommodation are two good-sized bedrooms, both with plenty of built-in storage and fresh linen, one with a dressing table and hair dryers in both rooms. There is also a lovely main bathroom with a wash basin, toilet and shower over bath. To the rear of the property is a cute, enclosed patio area with seating - the perfect place to sit and have a glass of fizz al fresco. It is a real suntrap towards the end of the day.

The apartment is just a 5-minute level walk from the train and bus station and the centre of Harrogate, as well as only being 1 minutes’ walk from Harrogate’s 200 acres Stray and Waitrose supermarket. The renowned Betty’s Tearoom is right on your doorstep, along with many fantastic restaurants, pubs, and independent shops. The Valley Gardens are nearby and RHS Harlow Carr can be reached on foot, taking a beautiful walk through The Valley Gardens and Pinewood. Cherry Garth Cottages are located in the centre of Thornton le Dale, ’Yorkshire’s little gem’. Cherry Blossom has been named after the cherry trees which border the garden. The cottage has been built from beautiful traditional Yorkshire stone, and is tucked away in the grounds of the owner’s home Cherry Garth. It has an open plan living area with a welcoming wood burner to snuggle up in front of after a busy day out exploring the spectacular Yorkshire coast and countryside, and upon arrival you will be welcomed with a lovely welcome pack with tea, coffee and biscuits. There are lovely views from the property onto the garden and the bedroom window overlooks the paddock, where sheep graze.

The picturesque village of Thornton le Dale is located on the edge of the North York Moors, a mere one mile from Pickering. From here you can take a ride on the famous steam train to Grosmont, Goathland (aka Aidensfield in the classic TV series Heartbeat) and the seaside town of Whitby where you can climb the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey. Those looking for a quieter pace of life may prefer to walk the many footpaths and bridleways over the North York Moors.
