Two steps lead up to glass double doors which lead you out to a beautifully presented courtyard with ample seating. Fairy lights illuminate this area in the evening, creating a delightful space. Back inside on the ground floor there is also a well-equipped kitchen and utility area with a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and everything else you would expect for a comfortable stay. Plenty of take-away outlets, restaurants, bars, pubs and shops are within a short stroll of the house, offering a fantastic range of eating options. You can walk to the town centre, the beach, Scarborough Castle or Peasholm Park within ten minutes. A 5-minute walk across North Marine Road provides breath-taking views of the North Bay and Scarborough Castle, with benches where you can rest for a while. You may catch a glimpse of the pods of dolphins that are regular visitors to the coastline.
A meandering path takes you down to the beach in less than 10 minutes. Once on the seafront over three miles of flat promenade provide the perfect opportunity to walk and explore all areas of the Victorian resort. Either head south below the hilltop castle towards the South Bay, Scarborough Spa and the Italian Gardens, or go north past rows of colourful beach huts towards the Sealife Centre and Scalby Mills.
